Subway Miami Headquarters

Subway® engaged HLW to transform two-and-a-half floors of a corporate campus into its new headquarters in Miami. Spanning 64,000 square feet, the HQ includes a variety of on-trend, open-concept workspaces and premier amenities.

Spark’s lighting program blends local architectural site context with a contemporary aesthetic that enhances the project’s interior design and branded graphics package. For example, narrow RGBW linear stripes around portals and hanging curlicue light ropes evoke the tropical Art Deco language of Miami Beach. Wall-washers along corridors and direct/indirect pendants in huddle rooms highlight the branded graphics on the walls and ceilings. A unique tape light detail accents colorful brand panels in the café.

A standout feature is the serpentine pendant light fixture, a linear structure with gently curved corners that winds through the workspace. The curves respond to the softness of the HQ’s workplace furnishings while echoing Subway’s iconic arrow logo.

The result is a vibrant, dynamic environment that represents Subway’s vision for its brand, and inspires staff and visitors alike.
